Aftermath of the snow storm

Well early this morning we had a really cool phenomenon - Thunder snow. It was dumping snow and lightening and thundering out. We got close to 12 inches!
Here's the backyard

Front yard, Isaiah's truck is in the driveway

Oh no, where's a Woo to go potty?

Daddy had to shovel him some place to go.

2nd Snow Day

Well we got our second snow day for this winter. It was a few inches, but alot of fun.
My neighbor's kids playing with Rachel in the snow fort Isaiah built. The funny thing about this is, he starts building the fort before shoveling the driveway or sidewalks. Kid at heart!

This is cold, mom.

Happy Valentine's Day

Happy Valentine's Day everyone! I didn't go all out, but did decide to buy each of the girls a little something and the bag in the middle was a little something for the big kid in the house :)

Our one and only snow day so far

Right after we got back to Wichita we got a few inches of snow - just enough to go out and play. Unfortunately its been the only day so far - bummer! Here are a few pics from our fun in the snow.

You can see a little snow angel on the left, that's Rachel's and the one on the right is mine.

EdVenture

My parents and I took the girls to EdVenture in Columbia one Saturday. I had seen "Snowville" advertised, and thought it would be a fun time, since Rachel loves snow. It turns out there wasn't really snow, but I think she still had fun anyway.

My parents and the girls waiting outside for them to open.

Rachel and Ruth, about as close as they get to one another. Rachel loves her "Jingle hat".

They had a farm area. This was by far Rachel's favorite. They had a tractor and a tree that you could pick the peaches off and put in the baskets. She wanted to do it the other way though. She kept putting the peaches back in the tree holes.

Rachel likes these peep hole photo boards as much as I do.

Ruth and I in the toddler area.

Wichita has a great children's museum and toddler area, but Columbia has definintely exceded the mark. This area was great. There was a big tree house, boat, and tiny tot area. The girls spent a long time playing in here.
